This fabulous female black cockatoo was commissioned by a Perth private collector and now hangs proudly in her Nedlands home.

I was  requested to paint a bust profile of an Australian Cockatoo that depicted character and detail.  Several potential reference images were presented to my client this female Red – Tailed Black Cockatoo was chosen as the outstanding winner.

My client  named her Gertie as this name  suited her cheeky nature.
